If you did not get a copy of the Sunday Seattle Times (or major market newspaper in your area), it may not be too late. Inside, there were three doubler coupons for Albertsons and $2.50 off Electrosol. For us in the Seattle area, the Seattle Times is the paper to get on the weekends, as the Smartsource insert includes pages of bonus coupons (as in the case this last weekend), of General Mills coupons and others.

Target Shoppers? One of these days, I'll make it up to our local Target. Many women I know list Target among their favorite places to get a great deal on groceries, etc. Target offers their own printable coupons, which you can combine with manuf or internet printed coupons. Here's a blog which does the "matching" for you. The savings appear impressive! We'd love to hear what you save on your next visit to Target.

(Note: Even if you're not planning a trip to Target, check this blog for links to general printable coupons for use at other stores (besides the Target Specific IP Coupons).

Sharing Our Good Deals: The Help House is in need of donations, as this is their "Christmas In July" event. When you see a great deal, perhaps you can give the items, if you cannot/will not use them yourself. Also, we're working to support another small ministry, "Helping Hands" which distributes toiletries and non-food items to those in need. Often Walgreens and other stores give us great opportunities to get basic necessities cheap or free. Hand these items to those who help our neighbors. For more information on either helping organization, please email hannolds@comcast.net

Keep Saving, Keep Sharing!

Pardon the Test Post... I think I'm "linked" Now

Hello and welcome to the re-designed, re-named and re-networked blog. Stay tuned, but I just may have solved (I shouldn't say that, I know)...uh hem, I mean successfully linked and networked myself, after some time of being in the lonely, frustrated un-tech dark.

Please read on, follow or at least visit often -- and send the good word out to your friends. Comments, your stories, and your Good Deal Alerts welcome!
